Country Home in Sweden

Lovely readers,

I want to thank you all so much for your answers to my question in yesterday's post. Some of you could only see 3/4 of the last photograph so, unfortunately I'll have to reduce huge pictures to 660 pixels. However, today I am tempted to show you the images in their original size, as so many of you preferred the big images. I might try to tweak my blogger template to make more room for bigger images. I will let you know if I succeed!

French Style in Sweden

Sunny morning to you, dear readers! We shall tour an 18th century home in Sweden today. You can tell it is Swedish by the corner fireplace in the first picture and some Gustavian furniture. But the rest is definitely French. Lots of lovely details.

My Sunday nap lasted two hours so as I wasn't sleepy at my usual bed time I decided to prepare a second post for you today.

Cottage in Sweden

Hello, dear readers. Today's home was built in 1890 and is located in a village in Sweden. Owners Frida and Sebastian decided to move to the countryside when they married.


Frida and hubby Sebastian, their sons Bill and Jack, and their dog Martha pose on the stairs in their kitchen.

This part of the house used to be a stable and garage and is now Frida's ceramic workshop.
